Soogil is a Korean restaurant in the East Village, named after Chef Soogil Lim, who previously worked at the 2-Michelin star restaurant, Daniel. Here he combines his French culinary training with his Korean heritage bringing together dishes such as: glass noodles, foie gras, and mung bean sprout pancake.
Mung Bean Korean Pancake - pan-fried mung-bean sprout pancake, pork fat, and kimchi sprout salad
Glass Noodle - vegetable, oyster mushrooms, and bulgogi
Spanish Mackerel - grilled mackerel, swiss-chard wrapped rice with ssamjan
Foie-Gras Terinne - hudson valley foie gras, brioche, candied walnut, fig, and green plum gelee
Nurungji Gras - crispy rice, spinach, oyster mushrooms, onion, and organic hon shimeji pickles
