Nai Tapas is an East Village tapas bar with a rustic, yet cozy dining area. The room has large floor to ceiling windows, cement walls, accented with copper, vintage food containers and wine bottles, and pig sculptures. Modern and traditional tapas are served such as mustard marinated broiled chicken thighs with tobiko, seaweed and Champagne-pickled shallots and broiled clams with lemon zest, cilantro and yuzu. There's also a Flamenco show on Thursdays and Saturdays, which can make for a fun date night.
Tostada De Lubina - glazed chilean sea bass wrapped in toast with an orange emulsion and saffron salt topped with Serrano wrapped asparagus
Bocados de Salmon - seared salmon over saffron rice with an aioli gratin
Carpaccio de portobello - portobello marinated in truffle oil, topped with Manchego cheese, Marcona almonds, and saffron salt
Pollo a la Brasa - broiled sweet mustard marinated chicken thighs with tobiko, seaweed and champaign pickled shallots. Served with aioli sauce, chipotle sauce and spicy avocado puree
Almejas a la Brasa - clams broiled over lava rocks with lemon zest, cilantro and yuzu
