Garlic Shrimp Pasta

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)

  • 8 garlic cloves minced

  • Red pepper flakes

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • 1 lemon

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • Parsley flakes

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 box of spaghetti


  1. Cook spaghetti according to instructions on the box. When pasta is done, set aside pasta water

  2. Heat olive oil in skillet on high heat. When the olive oil gets hot, place shrimp evenly in skillet and cook for 1 minute

  3. Sprinkle shrimp with salt and pepper and stir until shrimp begins to turn pink

  4. Add garlic, squeezed lemon, 1 tbsp butter, and sprinkle red pepper and parsley flakes

  5. Turn heat to low and add 2 tbsp butter to form a thicker sauce and cook for 2 - 3 minutes

  6. Add shrimp mixture to pasta and stir around. Add pasta water as needed and serve
