Lemon Garlic Scallops

Quick and easy recipe to make garlicky lemon scallops.

Servings: 2


  • 1 lb Scallops

  • 3 tbsp Ghee (Use butter if not following a specific diet)

  • 1 Lemon

  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced

  • Salt

  • Pepper


  1. Rinse scallops and thoroughly pat dry with a paper towel. Then season with salt and pepper

  2. In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp of ghee over a medium high heat. Add scallops and cook each side for about 2 minutes, so that it turns golden brown. Remove scallops and set aside on a plate

  3. Melt the remaining 2 tbsp of ghee in the skillet, add the minced garlic, squeeze the juice from the 1 lemon and season with salt and pepper

  4. Plate scallops, pour the lemon garlic sauce from the skillet on top and serve
