Honey Shrimp & Broccoli
A delicious shrimp dish is sweet and mildly spicy!

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp garlic (minced)
Red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and de-veined
2 tbsp butter
2 cups broccoli florets
1 tsp olive oil
Salt
Pepper

DIRECTIONS:
Cook rice according to packaging
Mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, red pepper flakes (as much as you desire) in a bowl
In a separate bowl, add shrimp with 1/3 of the sauce mixture and marinate for 30 minutes
Add cornstarch to the reserved marinade, whisk and set aside
Heat a skillet on high heat, add olive oil, broccoli, salt and pepper, and cook for 5 - 6 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside
Add butter to the skillet, then shrimp and marinade. Cook until the shrimp turns pink about 1 - 2 minutes on each side
Add in the reserved sauce and bring to a simmer. Add broccoli and toss until heated through. Then serve
