Pork Chops w/Shiitake Cream Sauce

Quick and easy pork chop recipe prepared with a light mushroom cream sauce.

  1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper

  2. In a large skillet, melt ghee on medium-high heat.  Add pork chops and cook each side for about 3 minutes or until it browns.  Then transfer to a plate and cover it with aluminum foil

  3. In the same skillet, lower the stove to medium heat and add the mushrooms.  Sprinkle it with salt and pepper and stir around until it becomes tender and brown.  Pour in the coconut milk and when it begins to boil, lower the heat, and let it simmer for 3 minutes.  Spoon the sauce onto the pork and serve

  • 8 oz boneless pork chops, thinly sliced

  • Salt

  • Ground black pepper

  • 2 tbsp ghee

  • Olive oil

  • 8 oz shiitake mushrooms

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 6 oz coconut milk, Whole30 compliant
